HAWKINGS CLASSROOM — LTI INSTALLATION KIT
Version: 2026-09-06

This kit contains public configuration, not credentials or a PHP plugin.
Moodle and Canvas already include LTI 1.3 support.

1. Open https://classroom.hawkings.education/start and verify your work email.
2. Create your organization. The 60-day free trial begins now; no card or automatic charge.
3. Moodle: enter your campus HTTPS origin in the setup page and create a one-time registration URL.
As LMS administrator: Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > External tool > Manage tools.
Paste that registration URL, choose Add LTI Advantage and activate the tool.
4. Add External tool in a course. Select content to choose Classroom or a published recording.
Use Embed as launch container. Learners enter through the LMS; do not distribute admin setup links.
5. Canvas: Admin > Developer keys > + LTI Key > Paste JSON (classroom-canvas.json).
Enable the key, then Settings > Apps > View App Configurations > By Client ID.
Contact daniel@hawkings.education for assisted activation of this installation.
Public client/deployment IDs are not proof of campus ownership: activation requires verification.
6. Open as instructor and check the setup page shows a successful signed launch.
7. AI starts disabled for each new course. Agree institutional data terms before real learner use.

For published recordings use the LTI content selector, not a public video URL.
If the browser blocks embedded login, use the explicit Open in a new tab action.
Moodle/Canvas integrations have local end-to-end verification; campus deployments still need their own check.
